Hi, I’m Krystalyn!
I’m a commercial photographer based in Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky. I specialize in people-focused imagery across portraiture, lifestyle, headshots, e-commerce, fashion, and product photography.
My approach is collaborative and intentional. Before each shoot, we’ll meet to align on goals, creative direction, and logistics. I ask questions, offer solutions and make sure we’re set up for a smooth, successful production.
Once we’ve aligned on creative direction, I take care of every production detail: location, lighting, crew, schedule, craft services, etc to ensure the shoot day runs smooth, relaxed, and focused. I’m always aiming for a set experience that’s approachable, productive, and yes, even fun. Bonus: I curate playlists for every kind of vibe — from chill to high energy.
After our shoot, I deliver files with precision and professionalism, keeping everything backed up and archived. Because I care about growing in my craft, I always welcome feedback.
More About Me…
I started freelancing while studying photography at Northern Kentucky University and never really stopped. Earning my BFA gave me the technical foundation but it was the real-world projects and collaborations that shaped how I work today.
While I'm rooted in Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky, my work has taken me to cities like New York, Chicago, and Columbus and I’m always open to traveling for the right creative opportunity.
Outside of work, I’m a bit of a nerd at heart. Think Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, and just about any anime with deep lore. I love a good conversation about character arcs and world-building. Music-wise, my heart belongs to metal — Iron Maiden, Metallica, Paramore, and Pink Floyd are staples but I’m drawn to anything with meaning, emotion, and a strong beat.
